Psilocybe hoogshagenii var convexa Mexico

Description : Redone with more normal looking mushrooms. Formerly known as Psilocybe semperviva. Pleurocystidia are abundant but are similar in appearance to basidioles. A few scattered, unbranched cheilocystidia-like pleurocystidia are also present. This species isn't noted as having branched cheilocystidia but they were commonly found. Psilocybe subhoogshagenii does have branched cheilocystidia but with a more pronounced nipple.
